Every year around this time, I start to miss Spring time.  I miss the blooming flowers, the warmer weather.....the sun.  When I wake up in the morning, my house is usually colder than the 37 degrees it is outside (our house was built in the early 1900's).  So this year, I'm hoping that my baby bump will start acting as my own personal heater...and soon!

In the winter time I tend to take a break from using my camera, but this year I'm going to challenge myself with some new photography projects....because isn't it important to challenge ourselves and find ways to stay inspired?  I'm still brainstorming and looking through magazines to find inspiration....what will you be doing this winter? Any creative projects....personal goals....I'd love to hear what you are up to.

And lastly, using random.org, a winner was selected to win the Amazon.com gift card I was giving away... so charliesue, I will be emailing you!  Stay tuned in the future because I love doing giveaways!

love it! I feel the same about winter time. I think I may start the whole 365 project, but not till jan 1 because I have ocd and feel like that would just be a better time to start than in the middle of dec. haha! hope you do something fun! what about a project using your baby bump?

I love the idea Megan! I find that having a project that I really look forward to helps get me through these long cold days that I'm not a fan of!

My goal is to finish off the website for my most famous client to date Rudy Parris. We've been working with him for a while now. He's playing Tahoe Wabo on New Years Eve so the plan is to get his site up and running before then. Wish me luck.
P.S. Love the new blog!

New visitor to your blog and I am in love! It's gorgeous. I used to feel the same way but now I'm in love with the way the light changes and how that affects the way colours. In particular I love how much richer and more saturated colours appear in the cold and the fog. It can be quite startling. Projects, projects! They are a great way to stay inspired. I keep a list of ideas for images or series of images that I'd like to photograph. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
