When I was around 9 years old, I remember my mom having a magnet on our refrigerator of a portrait of several pregnant women standing together, I think it was a magnet to support a local hospital, but I'm not really sure. What I do remember however, is this was the first time I was drawn to the beauty that is a pregnant woman. Sure, those 9 months aren't always full of of giggles and roses, but if you really stop and think about it, being pregnant is a miracle....in just a matter of seconds, a heart takes its first beat! The other morning, I heard a quote on the radio that said, "If you want to change the world, it begins with being a parent."
I'm thankful for the pregnant women I've been able to photograph in the last couple of years....they are the definition of beauty.
Pregnancy is a true blessing.....every day i am amazed that i have a little guy growing and growing inside of me. God is amazing! :)
