Hello there February, it's nice to see you again!  

In celebration of the month of Valentines Day, I thought I would post a few of my all time favorite Love Songs...which btw, was incredibly hard to come up with.  I went though my itunes playlist with the intention of only picking 10 but instead, I came up with a list of 53!  I'll spare you from too much mushy gushy and just post 10, but I will say this, it was a fun little afternoon project and a nostalgic trip down memory lane.  There are so so many songs I wanted to choose, but I picked these 10 songs specifically because they remind me of something special and unique about the relationships I have in my life....and even though I was tempted, don't worry, I didn't add any Boys 2 Men songs to the list. 

In no particular order:

1.) Norah Jones - The Nearness of You. (this is the song Ry and I danced to at our wedding)
2.) The Drifters - This Magic Moment
3.) Elton John - Your Song (btw, loved that he played this at the Grammy's with Lady Gaga)
4.) Garth Brooks - To Make you Feel My Love (love Adele's version too)
5.) Cat Power - I Found a Reason
6.) Smokey Robinson - I Second that Emotion.
7.) Taylor Swift - The Best Day (the video makes me cry every time)
8.) Stevie Wonder - As
9.) David Grey - The One I Love
10.) Sarah McLachlan - Answer

Okay, I lied....how about 5 more 

11.) Counting Crows - Colorblind
12.) Regina Spektor - Sampson
13.) U2 - All I Want is You
14.) John Mayer - Heart of Life
15.) Joshua Radin- Everything'll Be Alright

Call me a sap or a romantic, but I *heart* love songs. You've hit on a few of my favorite artists. Some of my favorites are: "The Way You Look Tonight" by Harry Connick Jr, "You and I" performed by Martina McBride (but originally by Stevie Wonder), and "Remember When" by Alan Jackson.
