The devastation in Japan has weighed heavy on my heart since it happened a few weeks ago. I always wish there was more that I could do to help. Do you remember when I photographed Anders & Lori's wedding way back in 2009? Well, I really admire them because they have devoted their lives to helping and serving others. Just a few week after the earthquake, they booked their flights to Japan to go help with the aftermath. The organization they are volunteering with is called Crash (and here is their website if you want to know more: http://www.crashjapan.com/) and you can also read about their efforts on their twitter page too. Let's all continue to keep Japan in our thoughts and prayers.

(04.04.11 @ 10:33 AM)I saw Anders' mom yesterday at a friend's baby shower and we were talking about how proud we are of them for going to Japan, but how worried we were at the same time. Miss them! I hope they are safe! Also, I realized the other day that I think my wedding was the first that you ever photographed. Crazy, how time flies by so quickly! You blink and four years has gone by!
