Happy Friday! One of my New Year's goals is to be better about updating my blog. Writing and sharing is something I have always enjoyed, but finding the time is sometimes difficult. I have a few ideas in mind however, to make this year more successful with blogging! Speaking of things on my mind, this year marks my 5th year in business....I really can't believe it! More on this subject later though. For now, here are a few of my favorite images from one of my favorite young clients!

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I popped in to my blog to say hello and give an update! Yesterday was my first day back at work, and it felt nice to get back into a routine after a lovely month off.
I'm going to keep my words short right now, and instead, share quite a few of my favorite images from the mini-sessions I did this past fall. I still have a few more mini-sessions to get ready and share here on the internet...but for now, I hope you enjoy these beautiful kids and families!

Well, hello there July!! I can honestly say that for the past couple of months, time has been moving at just the right pace. Not too fast and not too slow. In May, I decided that I was tired of how fast time seemed to be going by and I needed to figure out a way to make it slow down. Turns out, all that was needed was an adjustment in my thinking. In general, I think changing your thought patterns can be a slow process.....but for some reason, I woke up on May 1st and thought, "I can't waste a single moment today" and I've challenged myself with this notion every day since. Maybe I'm just growing up and growing older, but simply stopping to "take stock" of the passing moments of each day, saying thank you to God more, and limiting the time I spend online, has really helped my days feel more complete. Do you have any tips on how to make the most of each day? Or how to make time feel like it isn't going by so fast? I'd love to know!!
PS--hope you enjoy these photos!! When I heard there were puppies to photograph, my heart almost leaped from my chest :)
PSS- do you notice anything different about the two pictures on top vs the two on the bottom? That's right, they're twins!!
